Welcome to fifth grade! My name is Mrs. Gagliardi, and this is my fourth year here at St. Thomas Aquinas School.
Fifth grade is a big deal at STA as the students join the middle school population. It is a transition year for the students in many areas, and I have high expectations for them as both pupils and children of God. My goal is to help them develop their faith and strengthen their relationship with Jesus.
While in fifth grade, students will also work hard to achieve academic success on an individual basis. A variety of methods are used to instruct the students in order to meet the many different styles of learning. It is my hope that each child will leave fifth grade with a greater level of knowledge and a greater sense of confidence in themselves and their abilities.
